Giorgos Alkaios: "I have nothing to prove to anyone anymore"

Giorgos Alkaios stated in an interview on the show "Buongiorno" that he no longer feels the need to prove anything to anyone, as he has completed the cycle he desired in his career.

He referred to the period when he was affected by negativity on social media, but he has now decided to do what he enjoys, without being influenced by the financial aspect. He also commented on Akylas' participation in this year's Eurovision, saying that his song is suitable for the competition.

Giorgos Alkaios emphasized the importance of Greek lyrics in Eurovision, mentioning the success of his own participation in 2010 with "Opa", which took 8th place. He characteristically said: "I did it the way I wanted. It was a participation that after years, the gentleman you see there made his effort to bring a position in the top ten with a Greek song. We succeeded."
