Giannis Stankoglou: 'It's my choice to be free'

Actor Giannis Stankoglou spoke about his decision to remain single after his divorce from Aliki Danezi-Knutsen.

In an interview, Giannis Stankoglou stated that he has consciously chosen not to have a partner and enjoys his life. He also mentioned that he takes better care of himself, exercises, and has reduced his alcohol consumption.

Referring to his ex-wife, he noted that they are raising their children with joint custody, something he had requested from the beginning.

'Being free is my choice. It's been almost five years. Everything has fallen into place and it's great. I have a house and I can cook, watch a movie. I have a very good time and generally I have a lot of joy for life,' said Giannis Stankoglou.

Additionally, he emphasized: 'I have joint custody with my ex-wife. The children will come to the house on Saturday night and leave on Tuesday night. I asked for it from day one, I couldn't do otherwise, because I would be an unhappy person.'
