Karkas Criticizes Bibilas Over Public Statements

Giorgos Karkas strongly criticized Spyros Bibilas via a social media post, following a publication referencing Petros Filippidis' characterization of Spyros Bibilas.

Specifically, on June 24, Spyros Bibilas posted a newspaper headline on his personal Facebook account regarding Petros Filippidis' testimony in his trial. The headline stated: "The actor undressed Bibilas as well: 'He became a member of parliament and the joke of the theater'." Spyros Bibilas expressed his disagreement with the word "undressed."

Giorgos Karkas commented on Spyros Bibilas' post, expressing dissatisfaction with his public statements, particularly in relation to the ongoing trial. Karkas stated that Bibilas has degraded his position as a member of parliament and accused him of publicly commenting on witness testimonies, which he considers unacceptable. His comment concluded with the phrase: "You have a problem, you are both laughable and pathetic."

In his post, Spyros Bibilas mentioned that a "specific popular publication has been at war with me (as well as others) for some time for its unethical publications" and added that it is not the first time that some people write unacceptable headlines to sell.
