Elena Christopoulou: Criticism of Ioanna Touni's Statements

Elena Christopoulou expressed concern regarding Ioanna Touni's public statements about her revenge porn case trial. On Real View, Christopoulou stated that she struggles to understand why Touni is publicizing details from a trial that she herself requested to be held behind closed doors.

"I'm confused, that's the truth... I don't understand why we need to know what's happening inside a courtroom, which she herself has requested to be closed to the public. Why do we need to know the details?" Christopoulou characteristically stated.

Christopoulou questioned whether this stance could harm Touni's case, noting: "It may even be burning her case, I don't know...". She also commented on specific arguments that were made public, questioning the necessity of publicizing them.

For her part, Elina Papila argued that Touni's repeated presence on social media may be related to the need to publicize the developments in the case.
