Giorgos Mazonakis Admitted to Psychiatric Clinic

Giorgos Mazonakis was admitted to a public psychiatric clinic today, August 14, where he is currently hospitalized. He is expected to be transferred to a private clinic at his and his family's request.

In October 2024, Giorgos Mazonakis filed two lawsuits against his sister, Vaso Mazonakis, due to disagreements. The singer's lawyer stated that the lawsuits concerned financial differences.

The dispute between the siblings became known in May 2024. Until 2019-20, Vaso Mazonakis was Giorgos Mazonakis' manager and controlled his finances. From 2021, when the singer started performing at "Kentro Athinon," his management passed into other hands.
