Dune: Messiah – Robert Pattinson in the third chapter?

Discussions surrounding Denis Villeneuve's third film, Dune: Messiah, have intensified, with rumors suggesting that filming has commenced in Budapest. According to Hungarian sources, Robert Pattinson was spotted in the city alongside Jason Momoa, fueling speculation about Pattinson's potential involvement in the film.

So far, there is no official confirmation of Pattinson's participation, but he is rumored to play Scytale, a central antagonist to Paul Atreides. Pattinson's potential addition to the cast is considered highly intriguing.

Dune: Messiah is expected to be released on December 18, 2026, and will be the epilogue to the franchise. Denis Villeneuve has stated that this will be the last Dune film he directs.
