Dimitris Basis: Christos Nikolopoulos grounded me

Dimitris Basis spoke about the support of Christos Nikolopoulos in his early steps, in an interview on the show "Proian se eidon".

The singer emphasized the importance of having people around you who ground you, especially when success begins to approach you. As he characteristically said, he had to say many "no" to proposals that did not represent him, in order to chart his own course.

Referring to Christos Nikolopoulos, Dimitris Basis said: "Christos Nikolopoulos was very close to me in my first steps and told me "Basaki, now the hard times begin". While I was living the dream, he grounded me".

He also commented on the danger of sudden success, saying that it takes character and people around you to ground you abruptly.
