Dimitra Papadima: "He raised the rifle to hit me"

In an extensive interview with the newspaper On Time Savvatokiriako, Dimitra Papadima revealed that her father raised a rifle to hit her. The actress spoke to journalist Sissy Menegatou about her childhood and her relationship with her parents.

"Yes, he raised the rifle to hit me," Dimitra Papadima stated, describing a difficult relationship with her parents. "They were weak-willed and afraid of life – and that's the worst. You didn't know whether to pity them or fight them. Because they didn't know how to handle me."

The actress also mentioned the challenges she faced in her youth, being forced to carry a knife to protect herself from attacks. Despite the difficulties, Dimitra Papadima stated that she has a strong character and has moved forward at great emotional cost.
