Actress Anna Maria Papacharalambous has stated that she has ended her involvement with the #metoo movement, emphasizing that the judicial completion of the case and the need to move on with her life led her to this decision.

In an interview with #Rosa, Papacharalambous referred to the difficulties of the judicial process and the psychological impact of her involvement in the Petros Filippidis case. At the same time, she underlined the importance of the change that has taken place in the theater world after #metoo, where behaviors that were once accepted are no longer.

"I have put an end to it. A period has been placed because that's what you have to do. You take a journey and at some point you have to say 'this far' and what you got out of it... Because for me it has already been completed judicially, it ended with a positive outcome, with a positive ending, so there you have to put a period and move on," the actress characteristically stated.

She also referred to the negative criticism she received, emphasizing that it did not affect her much, but she was impressed by the malice of some people who did not know the circumstances.

Papacharalambous emphasized that #metoo changed the theater world, offering safety and a voice to young people, while at the same time acknowledging that bad behaviors will not disappear completely.
