Alekos Syssovitis: "I had a pathological dependence on my mother"

Actor Alekos Syssovitis spoke on the show #SuperKaterina about the special relationship he had with his mother, describing it as a "pathological dependence."

On the occasion of the premiere of the series #PortoLeone, in which he participates, Alekos Syssovitis referred to the difficulties his mother faced with her mental health.

"It was not possible through this pathological dependence and love I had with my mother to be able to cut off this feeling and make my own path in America. I couldn't do it," he confessed.

Referring to Alzheimer's disease from which his mother suffered, the actor stressed: "Alzheimer's is a very difficult and rapidly developing disease. It is sometimes more difficult for the person next to the person experiencing it."
