Angelopoulos: 'I Didn't Hit Koutsantoni, I'll Be Acquitted'

Stathis Angelopoulos appeared in Evelpidon following a criminal prosecution for domestic violence against his ex-wife, Maria Koutsantoni. He maintains his innocence.
The trial was postponed to September 16, 2025, due to the absence of Ms. Koutsantoni, who, according to her lawyer, is experiencing post-traumatic stress. Stathis Angelopoulos' lawyer, Mr. Vasilis Noulezas, expressed his opposition to the postponement.
The court imposed a fine of 200 euros on Ms. Koutsantoni and 200 euros on Stathis Angelopoulos' son for their absence. Mr. Noulezas stated that the fine to the son was unjustified, as he was to testify via sworn affidavit.
Stathis Angelopoulos stated: 'I have not raised a hand to Maria'.
