Greek Foreign Ministry: Yiannos Kranidiotis Remains a Point of Reference

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Yiannos Kranidiotis remains a point of reference for Greek foreign policy, 26 years after his death.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that Kranidiotis' work and diplomatic legacy are assets for Greece and Cyprus in their efforts for a just and sustainable solution to the Cyprus issue, as well as for addressing regional and global challenges.
Yiannos Kranidiotis was an academic, politician, and diplomat, and supported European integration and the accession of the Republic of Cyprus to the European Union, the Ministry added.
