Christos Konstantinidis on Tempi: "Karystianou Should Have Resigned"
Share on:

Christos Konstantinidis, a relative of a victim of the Tempi train tragedy, stated that Maria Karystianou should have resigned from her position as president of the victims' relatives association due to her involvement in politics.

Speaking on the show "Hamogela kai Pali!", Mr. Konstantinidis expressed his anger at the delays in the trial regarding the Tempi videos, accusing the president of Plefsis Eleftherias, Zoe Konstantopoulou, of "stalling for time."

Mr. Konstantinidis submitted a memorandum to the European Public Prosecutor regarding the exhumations and contract 717, arguing that the exhumations would prove the illegal cargo and that contract 717 was a financial felony.

Regarding the exhumations, he stated that a lawsuit has been filed against the forensic doctors for breach of duty and false certification. He also argued that relatives are requesting that those responsible for manslaughter with possible malice aforethought be prosecuted, including Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Kostas Karamanlis, Christos Spirtzis, and Michalis Chrysochoidis.

Finally, he stated that he stands by Maria Karystianou personally, but not by her political movement, and that justice for the Tempi tragedy is the priority.
