An amendment facilitating the transfer of siblings studying at Military Schools has been submitted to the Parliament by the Minister of Education. The amendment allows students of Higher Education Institutions (AEI) and Higher Ecclesiastical Academies (AEA) with siblings studying at AEI, AEA, Higher Military Education Institutions (ASEI), the Military School of Officer Corps (SSAS), or the Higher Military School of Non-Commissioned Officers (ASSY), to apply for a transfer exceeding the quota.

The amendment stipulates that the transfer application must be submitted exclusively during the first year of studies. Additionally, it allows two or more siblings who are members of families with three or more children and are studying at the aforementioned schools to apply for a transfer in all years of their studies.

The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, thanked the Minister of Education, Sofia Zaharaki, for submitting the amendment, emphasizing that it contributes to attracting students to Military Schools.
