Niki Kerameus bid farewell to her mother with a post on social media, expressing her grief for the sudden loss and the inability to say goodbye as she would have liked.

In her post, Niki Kerameus wrote: "Mom, it's so hard to believe you're not with us anymore. You left so suddenly, and so quickly. And we didn't get to say goodbye as we would have liked. The pillar of our family and the cohesive link of all. Always offering, always giving, never taking – that's how we will always remember you. And that's how we will commemorate you in your five grandchildren, who I hope will take from your inexhaustible generosity. The only consolation in our grief is the fact that through your organs you give a new opportunity to five of our fellow human beings who were waiting for this precious gift of life."
