Tempi: Farmers Honor Victims with Moment of Silence at Memorial

Farmers from the Nikaia blockade honored the 57 victims of the Tempi tragedy by lining up their tractors in front of the memorial. This action took place after the blockade of the Tempi tunnel, paying tribute to the unjustly lost souls.

The farmers of Thessaly, starting from the Nikaia junction, moved in an organized manner towards the Athens-Thessaloniki highway, implementing the decision of the blockade for symbolic action. A minute of silence was observed at the site of the accident.

With this initiative, the farmers connected the agricultural struggle with the demand for accountability and justice. On 19/12, they had left the passage open for the relatives of the victims, ahead of the trial for the train videos in Larissa.
