Tempi: Revealing Material 'Hidden' by Experts

Shocking evidence has emerged in the Tempi case, as material held by judicial experts was not included in the case file. The photos and videos were seized by court order, following the confession of Mr. Batzopoulos, an appointed expert from the Larissa Traffic Police.
The material depicts the actions of the fire brigade and the restoration crews who began to 'cover up' the area a few hours after the accident. According to EDAPO experts and family advisors, this data highlights the reasons for the gaps in the investigations.
People involved in the case stated that the videos and photos best capture what happened and why there were so many gaps in the investigations. The special advisor to the victims' families, Kostas Lakafossis, noted that the work process reflects a 'cover-up' plan that was put into operation a few hours after the tragedy.
Mr. Lakafossis reiterated that the investigation procedures were not carried out in accordance with international safety protocols, as there was no security perimeter. In addition, he stressed that a volunteer from the Hellenic Rescue Team was investigating the site alone shortly before the final cover-up, while state officials were absent.
The file 'Photos from Pantremenos' mobile phone' is just one of the many files of seized material, highlighting the existence of many more important elements that should have been evaluated.
