Spanakis: Strengthening Citizen Service Centers in Agistri, Xylokastro, and Relocation in Acharnes

The Deputy Minister of Interior, Vasilis Spanakis, announced the strengthening of the Citizen Service Centers (KEP) in Agistri and Xylokastro, as well as the relocation of the Acharnes KEP to a new location.
With decisions of the Deputy Minister, the requests of the Municipalities of Agistri and Xylokastro-Evrostini for the establishment of permanent staff positions in their KEPs were approved. Specifically, the Agistri KEP will be reinforced with one secondary education (ΔΕ) position and the Xylokastro-Evrostini KEP with one university education (ΠΕ) position.
In addition, the request of the Municipality of Acharnes for the relocation of KEP 1041 to a new municipal space, accessible to people with disabilities (ΑμεΑ), was approved.
Mr. Spanakis stated that these actions are part of a broader program to modernize the KEPs throughout the country, which includes upgrading infrastructure, procuring technological equipment, and modernizing the information system.
