The Deputy Minister of Interior, Vasilis Spanakis, announced the strengthening of the Citizen Service Centers (KEP) in Agistri and Xylokastro, as well as the relocation of the Acharnes KEP to a new location.

With decisions of the Deputy Minister, the requests of the Municipalities of Agistri and Xylokastro-Evrostini for the establishment of permanent staff positions in their KEPs were approved. Specifically, the Agistri KEP will be reinforced with one secondary education (ΔΕ) position and the Xylokastro-Evrostini KEP with one university education (ΠΕ) position.

In addition, the request of the Municipality of Acharnes for the relocation of KEP 1041 to a new municipal space, accessible to people with disabilities (ΑμεΑ), was approved.

Mr. Spanakis stated that these actions are part of a broader program to modernize the KEPs throughout the country, which includes upgrading infrastructure, procuring technological equipment, and modernizing the information system.
