Minister of State Akis Skertsos commented on Alexis Tsipras's departure from his parliamentary seat and the potential establishment of a new political party. In a post, Skertsos referred to critical choices during the SYRIZA government, such as the 2015 referendum, the collaboration with Panos Kammenos, Yanis Varoufakis, and the over-taxation of the middle class.

Skertsos emphasized that the questions he posed were rhetorical and substantive, underlining that the problem is not SYRIZA, but Alexis Tsipras himself. He characterized Tsipras's political formation as "political opportunism, political deception, and political cynicism," concluding that "Greece deserves better."

Skertsos's intervention followed the former Prime Minister's announcement, which caused activity in the political scene.

In his post, Mr. Skertsos asks: "Who said that he would tear up the memoranda with one law and one article, leading a significant part of Greek society into collective delusion and the country into political and social division?" and continues listing a series of actions by the former prime minister.
