5.3 Magnitude Earthquake in Thesprotia, Greece

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck Thesprotia, Greece, at 05:32, causing unrest in the Epirus region.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter was located 12 km east of Leptokarya, Thesprotia, with a focal depth of 9.7 km. The earthquake was felt in Epirus, Thessaly, and the Ionian Islands.
Residents of Ioannina and Thesprotia took to the streets. Small rockfalls were reported on the Egnatia Odos towards Igoumenitsa, while some areas in Ioannina are without power.
