Radio Frequency Issue: Greek FIR Closure

The Greek FIR has been closed due to a technical issue with radio frequencies, causing the suspension of landings and takeoffs at the country's airports. The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) issued a relevant aviation directive (NOTAM) announcing the suspension of flights until further notice.
Initially, flights already in the air were being served, but now departures are essentially impossible, especially from "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport. Flights are also being diverted to other airports.
According to the HCAA, the problem is being investigated with external bodies, and restrictions have been placed on Greek airports. Flights in the air will land "manually" without the use of automatic systems.
Fraport Greece has reported potential delays at the 14 regional airports it manages. Mr. Grigoris Konstantellos, a pilot and mayor, stated that the HCAA's systems are outdated and need modernization.
