PASOK Founding Member Nikos Akritidis Passes Away

Nikos Akritidis, a founding member of PASOK, has passed away. He was one of the first members of the party in 1974 and served as a Member of Parliament for Thessaloniki A from 1977 to 2000.
Nikos Akritidis was a member of the first organizational team of the Movement for Central Macedonia and a member of the three-member secretariat of the PASOK Thessaloniki Prefectural Committee from 1974 to 1977.
In the governments of Andreas Papandreou, Nikos Akritidis served as Minister of Commerce and Transport.
