Pavlos Aslanidis: New president of the Tempi victims' association

Pavlos Aslanidis has been elected as the new president of the Tempi Victims' Association, following the resignation of Maria Karystianou in January. Mr. Aslanidis' election was unanimous.
In the new board of directors, Eleni Vasara remains secretary, Vasilis Pavlidis was elected vice president, and Mirela Routsi treasurer.
Mr. Aslanidis stated to MEGA that the association's priority is the memorial events for the three years since the Tempi tragedy on February 28. He also mentioned that the labor centers of Athens, Piraeus, and Thessaloniki will hold a strike.
Regarding Maria Karystianou, Mr. Aslanidis stated: "She has offered a lot, followed a different path, I hope she succeeds in what she has chosen."
The other members of the Board had requested Ms. Karystianou's resignation, as they felt she was pursuing a political career representing the Association.
