Patras: Stefanos Kasselakis Meets with Seasonal Firefighters

Stefanos Kasselakis met with seasonal firefighters during his visit to fire-stricken Patras and was informed about their labor issues.

According to a statement by the Seasonal Firefighters Union, Mr. Kasselakis met with Gerasimos Geroulis, who briefed him on firefighting operations and the shortages they face.

Stefanos Kasselakis stated that the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis devalues firefighters who sacrifice themselves daily. He also mentioned the reduced recruitment of seasonal firefighters, despite the increasing climate crisis.

Mr. Kasselakis was accompanied by vice presidents Theodora Tzakri and Myrto Korovesi.
