Mitsotakis: Improving daily life is the focus of the cabinet

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis set the improvement of citizens' daily life as a goal during his introductory speech at the cabinet meeting.

The meeting's agenda included bills and initiatives concerning various sectors. Among them, the start of operation of non-state universities was discussed, a reform that the Prime Minister described as delayed.

Furthermore, legislative initiatives were presented by the Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos regarding the regulation of economic activities, the acceleration of strategic investments, industry and social entrepreneurship.

The agenda also includes the Spatial Planning and Urban Planning Code (Minister of Environment and Energy Stavros Papastavrou), a bill for the establishment of a Greek Presidency Office in the Council of the European Union (Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis), measures for political advertising (Minister of Interior Thodoris Livanios), the fight against art forgery (Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni), sustainable fisheries (Minister of Rural Development and Food Kostas Tsiaras) and the licensing of television stations (Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Pavlos Marinakis).
