Mitsotakis: Positive View on Europe's 360-Degree Defense Approach

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, upon arriving at the European Council Summit, stated that it is positive that Europe's defense perspective extends to 360 degrees, as requested by Greece.

Mr. Mitsotakis referred to the need for European resources for housing, as well as the effectiveness of European sanctions as pressure on Russia to negotiate. He also stressed that there can be no European competitiveness without low energy prices.

When asked about the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, the Greek Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction, emphasizing that Greece supports sanctions as a means of pressure to get Russia to the negotiating table.

In addition, Mr. Mitsotakis referred to the government's initiatives for the high cost of housing, such as the rent refund on November 30, and asked that the use of European resources be examined to support tenants.
