Mitsotakis in Evros: €30 Million Infrastructure Projects Announced

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited Evros and announced infrastructure projects totaling €30 million.

During his visit, Mr. Mitsotakis was briefed on the situation in the areas affected by the recent floods by the Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Christodoulos Topsidis, and the Mayors of Soufli Panagiotis Kalakikos, Didymoteicho Romylos Chatzigiannoglou, and Orestiada Diamantis Papadopoulos.

The Prime Minister also visited the Kipi Border Station, where upgrade works are underway. He was informed about the progress of the projects, which include the construction of new shelters and buildings for controls.

He also met with farmers in Feres, discussing the needs of the sector. He analyzed the government's strategy for strengthening Greek livestock farming and utilizing the waters of the Ardas River.

"We will acquire the entrance and exit of the country to Turkey that we deserve," the Prime Minister stated.
