Mitsotakis: Room for intervention due to fiscal prudence

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in his weekly review, emphasized that the fiscal prudence of recent years gives the government room for intervention depending on the evolution of the crisis.
He referred to his visit with French President Emmanuel Macron to Cyprus, reiterating Greece's support for the Republic of Cyprus. He also noted that Greece is seriously considering the possibility of using small modular reactors in its energy mix.
Mr. Mitsotakis announced the imposition of a ceiling on the profit margin on fuel and 61 supermarket products, a measure that will be in effect until the end of June.
Furthermore, he referred to the restart of the project of partial water transfer from the Acheloos to Thessaly, as well as the progress of projects for the fire season, including the modernization of Canadair aircraft.
Finally, he referred to the successes of the Financial Crime Unit and the AADE in identifying criminal organizations and smuggling rings.
