Mitsotakis Draws Parallels with France for Political Stability

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, speaking ahead of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), emphasized the need for political stability in Greece, citing the crisis in France as an example. He highlighted the projects underway in Thessaloniki, including the Metro and the new pediatric hospital, as well as interventions at TIF.
Mr. Mitsotakis stressed that Greece is in an advantageous position as it can generate surpluses, allowing for tax cuts and increased spending in areas such as health and education. He underscored the importance of a single-party government for implementing its program, referring to "toxicity and fake news."
He also mentioned the renovation of schools through the Marietta Giannakou program and the abolition of university occupations. Regarding TIF, he announced the upgrading of the venue with national resources, without private sector involvement.
