Mitsotakis: Vonitsa - Lefkada Road Axis Completed

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the completion of the Vonitsa - Lefkada road axis in a post on Sunday (10/8).

Specifically, the Agios Nikolaos bypass, a section of the road axis connecting Lefkada with Aktio, was opened to traffic.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the project will serve visitors of Dekapentavgoustos (Dormition of the Virgin Mary), offering fast and safe access.

"Another project completed, connecting Lefkada with Aktio. And especially during this period, serving the visitors of Dekapentavgoustos. Quickly, easily and safely. Greece is moving forward. We continue," he wrote.
