Severe Weather Front Hits Greece

A severe weather front is expected to expand across Greece in the next 48 hours, bringing rain, thunderstorms, local hailstorms, and strong winds.

Strong thunderstorms are already affecting the Ionian Islands and areas of Achaia, Ilia, and Messinia. Residents have been advised to be particularly careful.

Heavy rainfall is occurring in Corfu, where extreme weather phenomena are likely to occur according to the meteorological service.
