Georgiadis: Mitsotakis' Acknowledgment on OPEKEPE and Ministerial Posts

The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, described as courageous the Prime Minister's public acknowledgment that there was a failure in OPEKEPE. Speaking on ERT, Mr. Georgiadis stated that the Prime Minister announced the abolition of OPEKEPE, as he recognized that it is a field of failure.

In this context, Mr. Georgiadis emphasized that no minister is permanent in their position. He also stated that he has no doubt as to the moral integrity of those who resigned, whom he considers decent and honest.

Referring to the measure for the electronic bracelet in hospitals, Mr. Georgiadis noted that the average waiting time at "Gennimatas" has significantly decreased.

Finally, Mr. Georgiadis stressed that New Democracy is the only ruling party that votes for preliminary investigations for its ministers, which shows the difference in ethos of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
