Georgiadis on Nikaia Hospital: 'I will deliver it brand new'

The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, responded to reactions regarding the water inflow at Nikaia Hospital, stressing that the problems are temporary and due to renovation works.
In a post on the X platform, Mr. Georgiadis explained that the projects, which are funded by the Recovery Fund, are being carried out within tight deadlines, with a deadline of June 30.
The minister stated that the water inflow is due to earthworks for the construction of an external staircase in the new operating rooms, combined with heavy rainfall.
Adonis Georgiadis assured that after the completion of the works there will be complete waterproofing of the facilities and that Nikaia Hospital will be delivered fully renovated.
'No matter how much they shout, I will deliver Nikaia Hospital to my successor brand new and much better than I received it,' he wrote characteristically.
