Farantouris: Turkish threats should be treated as Euro-Turkish

MEP Nikos Farantouris argued that Turkey's differences and threats should not be treated purely as Greek-Turkish, but as Euro-Turkish, in an interview with Action24.
He expressed his opposition to a multilateral Conference for the Eastern Mediterranean for the delimitation of maritime zones, which was previously proposed by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Mr. Farantouris stressed that in such a conference Greece would be overshadowed by Turkey, questioning the participation of Libya and Syria, as well as the pseudo-state.
He stressed the need for a more active presence of Greece in the EU and not submission to the German factor.
