Famellos to Visit Fire-Affected Areas in Attica

Sokratis Famellos, the president of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, will visit the fire-stricken areas of southeastern Attica tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20. He will be accompanied by a delegation of party officials.

The tour will begin with a meeting at 10:30 AM with the mayor of Lavreotiki, Dimitris Loukas, in Plaka Keratea (Keratea camp).

SYRIZA-PS has criticized the government for the devastating fires, emphasizing its huge responsibilities, especially in terms of prevention.

In a statement, Koumoundourou stated that SYRIZA-PS has been on alert since the first hours of the fires, with MPs and officials in the affected areas.
