Plefsi Eleftherias MP, Diamantis Karanastasis, responded to statements by ND MP, Makarios Lazaridis, calling him a 'vile person' and demanding his exclusion from Parliament.

Mr. Karanastasis claimed that he is being attacked and lied about, while questioning Mr. Lazaridis' motives. He also referred to allegations of non-participation in parliamentary work, responding that he continues to work.

'I came from Larissa to Athens in 1992. I only knew my sister and the first thing I did was climb Lycabettus Hill to look at Athens and say “I will conquer you”. And I think I did well,' said Mr. Karanastasis.

Referring to references to his relations with companies, he said that he visits companies for his film projects and works every day.
