AUTH: 38 Arrests After Police Intervention at Polytechnic School

Police arrested 38 people after an operation at the Polytechnic School of AUTH, after midnight on Tuesday. The arrests were made for disturbing the operation of a service.

The Hellenic Police (ELAS) operation took place after a film screening at the Polytechnic School, which had been scheduled for 8 p.m. According to authorities, some of those present remained on the premises despite the prohibition by the university authorities of events after 10 p.m.

Initially, police detained 48 people, 38 of whom were arrested.
