Apostolos Gletsos Resigns as Regional Councilor of Central Greece

Apostolos Gletsos has resigned from his position as regional councilor of Central Greece. His decision took even his advisors by surprise.

In his resignation letter, Mr. Gletsos requested that his name be removed from the regional party "United Regional Movement - Apostolos Gletsos," stating that it is a party of SYRIZA, with which he has no political relationship.

The Regional Governor of Central Greece, Fanis Spanos, described the resignation as "sad," acknowledging Mr. Gletsos' love for the region.
