Thessaly Farmers: Meeting with Mitsotakis Uncertain

The coordinating committee of the "hardline" Thessaly roadblocks is meeting in Platykampos, with their descent to Athens for a meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis uncertain. The farmers' union representatives insist on the representation they propose.

The Maximos Mansion has accepted two delegations, but the Nikaia blockade demands the participation of 25-35 representatives, threatening not to attend the meeting. Government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis stated that the government does not operate under ultimatums and that the names of the participants are expected for security reasons, with a maximum limit of 20 people per meeting.

The nationwide committee of roadblocks is expected to make final decisions in the afternoon. Rizos Maroudas, president of the United Federation of Agricultural Associations of Larissa, stated that if all 35 do not participate, the tendency is not to go at all.

Even if the first meeting does not take place, the second one with the other committee will proceed as planned.
