Adonis Georgiadis: No Damage Found in 'Gennimatas' Hospital Elevator

Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis addressed an incident involving an elevator at 'G. Gennimatas' hospital, assuring that no damage was found. In a social media post, Mr. Georgiadis stated that the maintenance company examined the elevator immediately after the complaint and found no problems.
He emphasized that all safety certificates were valid. He also mentioned that the complaint was made several hours after the incident by an employee, following announcements by union representatives. The hospital administration and the competent authorities are investigating the case, and an order has been given to re-inspect all elevators in the hospitals of the National Health System (ESY).
The minister assured that there is no risk to patients, companions, and staff, emphasizing that safety should not be an object of political exploitation.
