Zakynthos: 57-year-old Polish Tourist Dies at Navagio Beach Area

A 57-year-old Polish tourist died while swimming in the Navagio (Shipwreck) beach area of Zakynthos. The incident occurred on Friday morning.

The man was pulled from the water unconscious and transported to the General Hospital of Zakynthos “Agios Dionysios,” where he was pronounced dead.

Initial reports indicate that the 57-year-old was a passenger on a tourist boat. An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Agios Nikolaos Volimon Coast Guard.
