Chania: 16-day-old newborn in ICU with coronavirus

A 16-day-old newborn is being treated in the Covid Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital of Chania, after being diagnosed with coronavirus.

According to zarpanews.gr, the infant, a baby boy, was born in a private clinic and was initially healthy. After discharge, he developed severe symptoms and was rushed to the hospital.

In addition, a 5-year-old girl is being treated in the hospital's pediatric Covid clinic.

Adult patients in Chania are also being treated for coronavirus, including an 82-year-old man and a 61-year-old tourist.
