Halkidiki: Umbrella Impales 26-Year-Old's Leg Due to Wind

A 26-year-old woman was injured when a beach umbrella, dislodged by strong winds, impaled her leg on the beach of Posidi in Halkidiki.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. The young woman was transported to Polygyros Hospital by an EKAV ambulance.
According to the Halkidiki EKAV Rescuers Team, she was immediately treated by a rescuer from EKAV Kassandra and the ambulance crew. Immobilization and bandaging were performed to control the bleeding, and the 26-year-old was transported to the hospital for the removal of the foreign object.
