Thessaloniki: Tools Stolen from Bike Repair Station on Nea Paralia

Unidentified individuals stole tools from the bike repair station on Nea Paralia in Thessaloniki, just days after its inauguration.

The perpetrators cut the retaining cables of the tools with pliers. The mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, stated that the tools will be replaced immediately and measures will be taken to protect the public space.

The two bike repair stations, which were inaugurated on August 6th, are located in front of the Garden of the Afternoon Sun and near the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

The mayor added that the municipal authority is determined to put an end to lawlessness.
