Syros: Seal Attacks Caretta Caretta Turtle – Video

An unusual scene unfolded in the port of Syros, where a seal attacked a Caretta caretta sea turtle. The incident was recorded on video by Ioannis P. Karavas and sent to ARCHELON, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece.

Unfortunately, the turtle was found dead in the Lazaretta area. According to initial estimates, the attack is related to competition for food.
