Peristeri Deputy Mayor Giorgos Bekiaris Passes Away

Giorgos Bekiaris, cardiologist and Deputy Mayor of Health for the Municipality of Peristeri, has passed away. The news was announced by the Mayor of Peristeri, Andreas Pachatouridis.

Mr. Pachatouridis expressed his deep sorrow for the loss of his close associate, emphasizing Giorgos Bekiaris' contribution to the Health and Social Welfare sector of the municipality.

"Deep sadness and emotion for the loss of my close associate, Deputy Mayor of Health of the Municipality of Peristeri and excellent scientist, Giorgos Bekiaris," Mr. Pachatouridis stated.

The mayor added that Giorgos Bekiaris was "an important cardiologist, a man of character, dedication and great contribution to our region."
