Patras: Tree Falls in Olga Square – No Injuries Reported

A large pine tree, 15 meters tall, fell in Olga Square in Patras on Monday afternoon (October 6). Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage to shops and passers-by.

The tree, which was located on the Kolokotroni Street side, collapsed suddenly, causing panic among patrons of nearby shops. According to pelop.gr, the tree's roots were rotten, and the weight of the rain accelerated the fall.

The square is fenced off due to renovation works, and there were no workers or passers-by at the scene at the time of the fall.
