112 Alert Issued for Thessaly and Pieria: Limit Travel Due to Bad Weather

A 112 alert has been issued to residents of Thessaly and Pieria, urging them to limit their travel to essential trips only from this afternoon until Thursday morning, due to severe weather conditions caused by Storm Erminio.

The message specifically states: "Due to severe weather phenomena expected in the Region of Thessaly, limit your travel to essential trips only from late this afternoon until the early hours of Thursday. Follow the instructions of the Authorities."

A similar message was sent to Pieria, calling on residents to take the same precautions.

It is noted that Attica, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Thessaly, the Sporades, the Dodecanese, and Crete are also on "red alert," with intense phenomena such as thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds.
