Students from 9 countries care for olive trees at Tempi crash site

Student volunteers from nine European countries, including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, Portugal, and Poland, gathered in Tempi to care for the 57 olive trees planted at the site of the train tragedy.
The initiative, centered at the Kapnikos Station of Katerini, includes a memorial service for the victims, attended by local organizations and schools.
Caring for the olive trees is an act of respect and remembrance for the 57 innocent lives lost, as well as support for the local community. Relatives of the victims expressed their dissatisfaction with the delay in the administration of justice.
The memorial service was attended by 14 organizations, associations, and schools from the Gonnoi area.
