Marousi: 4-year-old found alone – What the taxi driver said

An alert was raised in Marousi when a 4-year-old girl was found wandering alone. A taxi driver, Nikolaos Chantzakis, found her and spoke emotionally to Star about the incident.

"It's shocking to see a child in the middle of the road crying. We wiped away her tears and buttoned up her jacket," Mr. Chantzakis said.

The little girl, according to the taxi driver, reportedly escaped the attention of her parents. "The little girl had tears in her eyes. She told us that her mom and dad had an argument," he added.

Mr. Chantzakis notified the police, who picked up the child. When he contacted the Marousi Police Department, he was informed that no one had searched for the child.
